How to Pick the Perfect Cannabis Seeds

When it comes to collecting, one of the most exciting things you can collect are cannabis seeds. This controversial little bean is one of the most genetically engineered organic products available, and is probably slightly behind the rose. With the wide variety of seeds available, one of the most exciting and most challenging collections begins due to their amazing properties.

One of the quests some collectors undertake is finding the perfect cannabis seeds. Every variety has a different set of attributes that combine to give you the perfect seed for your taste. What to look for hereā€¦

THC

THC stands for ‘Tetrahydrocannabinol’. This is the main psychoactive component found in fully grown cannabis plants and if you look for seeds you will see the THC percentage listed. Although the seeds do not contain actual THC, all strains are designed to reliably produce plants containing this level of THC. If you’re lucky enough to live in a country where growing cannabis is legal, you might be able to try it. If not, it should be addressed with the perfect strain that has the potential to produce a certain level of THC.

Produce

Another thing you want to know about Cannabis seeds is how much cannabis you can make if it’s legal to grow it. Yield is usually measured in grams and is calculated as the average yield found by the breeder. If you want to know if your seed can produce high yields, this is the attribute you want to look at.

Burden

Choosing a variant isn’t about important stats. You will find fairly similar THC and yield levels in different cannabis strains, so you should choose the strain you want. A good way to do this is to look at products that have won legitimate awards for quality. The most famous of these is definitely the High Times Cannabis Cup. Each year they determine which seed banks and individual cannabis seeds are the best of the year. Feminized seeds are probably the most demanding at the moment.
